Founded in Los Angeles, CA, in 1981 as the Institute of Computer Technology (ICT College), LA College International is a senior college accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, and Bachelor of Science degrees.
LA College’s programs offer every student the opportunity to learn practical and comprehensive skills, and to enrich and expand existing knowledge. Education at the College helps graduates to advance professionally in various technical and business areas, to broaden their awareness, and to strive towards personal and professional excellence.
LA College International offers programs on-ground at its Los Angeles, CA, campus and online. This allows both traditional and non-traditional students to manage their education more effectively. Online learning is a means of earning college credit for those who choose that educational mode of delivery without the limitations of a scheduled on-ground time and place commitment.
The online programs at LA College were created to make learning convenient and educationally sound for our students. Online learning offers students the opportunity to hone computer skills, enhance written communication abilities and to take more responsibility for their own learning while mastering the course content. These are essential skills for today’s workplace. Employees with these skills and a sense of personal responsibility will compete significantly more effectively for employment and promotion.
The Unites States of America’s Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787. In 2004 a law was establish September 17th a holiday to observe the ratification of this historic document.
