Education: B.F.A. Illustration, Syracuse University

Experience: I've taught multiple courses at LA College, including Design Elements, Digital Media, Corporate Identity, Entertainment Graphics, Drawing Principles, Desktop Publishing, and Portfolio Preparation. Work in the professional field includes DVD packaging and production, character development, print advertising and promotion, and management experience in the design field. Currently in grad school at CSUN completing art education courses, relevant studio arts courses, and field work in the public school system.

What I love about teaching: I love the feeling of knowing that I have taught a valuable skill to someone, at any age. It sounds so basic, but it can be the most fulfilling experience. If students come back to me after taking a course of mine and show me how they have put that skill to use in a practical manner, whether it is by creating a project or using the skill to get a job, then I know my teaching has paid off.
